Liu Mingming, Deputy Chief Physician of the Endocrinology Department at Shenzhen Second People's Hospital, and Liu Qianqian, Deputy Chief Physician of the Cardiology Department at Peking University Shenzhen Hospital, pointed out that a whole grain diet plays an important role in controlling sugar, lowering cholesterol, reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, and rehabilitation. Therefore, they suggest adopting a whole grain diet pattern in daily diet.
Yang Fuyu, Executive Vice Dean of the Shenzhen Research Institute of China Agricultural University, has put forward more expectations for the future development of the whole grain industry. He stated that whole grain health products such as oat drinks and buckwheat noodles have become the focus of research, and in the future, he will continue to explore research on medicinal and functional foods.
